Parágrafo 126

Verily, the day of ingathering is come, and all things have been separated from each other. He hath stored away that which He chose in the vessels of justice, and cast into fire that which befitteth it. Thus hath it been decreed by your Lord, the Mighty, the Loving, in this promised Day. He, verily, ordaineth what He pleaseth. There is none other God save He, the Almighty, the All-Compelling. The desire of the Divine Sifter hath been to store up every good thing for Mine own Self. Naught hath He spoken save to acquaint you with My Cause and to guide you to the path of Him whose mention hath adorned all the sacred Books.

Em verdade, o dia da colheita chegou (Mc 4:26-29) e todas as coisas foram separadas umas das outras (cf Mt 13:24-30). Ele preferiu as vasilhas da justiça, e lançou no fogo aquilo que lhe era digno disso. Assim foi decretado pelo vosso Senhor, o Poderoso, o Amoroso, neste Dia prometido. Ele, em verdade, ordena o que Lhe apraz. Não há outro Deus salvo Ele, o Omnipotente, o Irresistível. O desejo do Joeireiro Divino tem sido guardar todas as coisas boas para o Meu próprio Ser. Ele nada falou salvo para vos familiarizar com a Minha Causa e guiar-vos ao caminho d’Aquele cuja menção adornou todos os Livros sagrados.

Parágrafo 125

Blessed the one who hath remained faithful to the Covenant of God, and woe betide him who hath broken it and disbelieved in Him, the Knower of secrets. Say: This is the Day of Bounty! Bestir yourselves that I may make you monarchs in the realms of My Kingdom. If ye follow Me, ye shall behold that which ye were promised, and I will make you My companions in the dominion of My majesty and the intimates of My beauty in the heaven of My power forevermore. If ye rebel against Me, I will in My clemency endure it patiently, that haply ye may awaken and rise up from the couch of heedlessness. Thus hath My mercy encompassed you. Fear ye God and follow not in the ways of those who have turned away from His face, though they invoke His name in the daytime and in the night season.

Bem-aventurado aquele que permaneceu fiel à Aliança de Deus e ai daquele que a violou e não acreditou n’Ele, o Conhecedor dos segredos. Dize: Este é o dia da Magnanimidade! Movei-vos para que Eu vos possa fazer monarcas nos domínios do Meu Reino. Se me seguirdes, contemplarei aquilo que vos foi prometido, e far-vos-ei Meus companheiros no domínio da Minha majestade e confidentes da Minha Beleza no céu do Meu poder, para sempre. Se vos revoltardes contra Mim, na Minha clemência suportá-lo-ei pacientemente, para que, porventura, possais despertar e levantar-vos do leito da negligência. Assim vos envolveu a minha misericórdia. Temei a Deus e não sigais os caminhos daqueles que se afastaram da Sua face, apesar de invocar o Seu nome de dia e de noite.

Parágrafo 124

O people! Hearken unto that which hath been revealed by your All-Glorious Lord, and turn your faces unto God, the Lord of this world and of the world to come. Thus doth He Who is the Dawning-Place of the Daystar of divine inspiration command you as bidden by the Fashioner of all mankind. We, verily, have created you for the light, and desire not to abandon you unto the fire. Come forth, O people, from darkness by the grace of this Sun which hath shone forth above the horizon of divine providence, and turn thereunto with sanctified hearts and assured souls, with seeing eyes and beaming faces. Thus counselleth you the Supreme Ordainer from the scene of His transcendent glory, that perchance His summons may draw you nigh unto the Kingdom of His names.

Ó povo! Escutai aquilo que foi revelado pelo vosso Senhor Todo-Glorioso, e voltai as vossas faces para Deus, o Senhor deste mundo e do mundo vindouro. Assim vos ordena Aquele Que é o Local de Alvorada do Sol da inspiração divina conforme decretado pelo Moldador de toda a espécie humana. Nós, em verdade, criámos-vos para a luz e não desejamos abandonar-vos ao fogo. Saí das trevas, ó povo, com a graça deste Sol que brilha no horizonte da providência divina, e voltai-vos para ele com corações santificados e almas seguras, com olhos que vêem e faces radiantes. Assim vos aconselha o Ordinante Supremo da cena da Sua glória transcendente, para que porventura, os Seus chamamentos possam aproximar-vos para o Reino dos Seus nomes.

Say: O peoples of all faiths! Walk not in the ways of them that followed the Pharisees and thus veiled themselves from the Spirit. They truly have strayed and are in error. The Ancient Beauty is come in His Most Great Name, and He wisheth to admit all mankind into His most holy Kingdom. The pure in heart behold the Kingdom of God manifest before His Face. Make haste thereunto and follow not the infidel and the ungodly. Should your eye be opposed thereto, pluck it out.[10] Thus hath it been decreed by the Pen of the Ancient of Days, as bidden by Him Who is the Lord of the entire creation. He, verily, hath come again that ye might be redeemed, O peoples of the earth. Will ye slay Him Who desireth to grant you eternal life? Fear God, O ye who are endued with insight.

Dize: Ó povos de todas as religiões! Não sigais os caminhos daqueles que seguiram os Fariseus e com isso se velaram do Espírito. Eles em verdade, desviaram-se e estão em erro. A Beleza Antiga veio no Seu Mais Grandioso Nome e desejou admitir toda a espécie humana no Seu Sacratíssimo Reino. O puro de coração contempla o Reino de Deus manifesto perante a Sua Face. Apressai-vos e não sigais o infiel ou o ímpio. Se os vossos olhos se opuserem a isso, arrancai-os [Marcos 9:47; Mateus 5:29]. Assim foi decretado pela pena do Ancião dos Dias, conforme ordenado por Aquele Que é Senhor de toda a criação. Ele, em verdade, veio novamente para que possais ser redimidos, ó povos da terra. Ireis matar Aquele que deseja conceder-vos a vida eterna? Temei a Deus, ó dotados de discernimento.

Give ear unto that which the Dove of Eternity warbleth upon the twigs of the Divine Lote-Tree: O followers of the Son! We sent forth him who was named John to baptize you with water, that your bodies might be cleansed for the appearance of the Messiah. He, in turn, purified you with the fire of love and the water of the spirit in anticipation of these Days whereon the All-Merciful hath purposed to cleanse you with the water of life at the hands of His loving providence. This is that peerless One foretold by Isaiah, and the Comforter concerning Whom the Spirit had covenanted with you. Open your eyes, O concourse of bishops, that ye may behold your Lord seated upon the Throne of might and glory.

Dá ouvidos àquilo que a Pomba da Eternidade entoa nos ramos do Sadrat Divino: Ó seguidores do Filho! Enviámos aquele que se chamava João para vos baptizar com água, para que os vossos corpos se pudessem purificar para o aparecimento do Messias. Ele, pelo Seu lado, purificou-vos com o fogo do amor e a água do espírito em expectativa destes Dias em que o Todo-Misericordioso propôs purificar-vos com a água da vida, às mãos da Sua amorosa providência. Este é Aquele incomparável predito por Isaías, e o Consolador sobre quem o Espírito estabeleceu uma aliança convosco. Abri os vossos olhos, ó assembleia de bispos, para que possais contemplar o vosso Senhor sentado no Trono do poder e glória.

O followers of the Son! We have once again sent John unto you, and He, verily, hath cried out in the wilderness of the Bayán: O peoples of the world! Cleanse your eyes! The Day whereon ye can behold the Promised One and attain unto Him hath drawn nigh! O followers of the Gospel! Prepare the way! The Day of the advent of the Glorious Lord is at hand! Make ready to enter the Kingdom. Thus hath it been ordained by God, He Who causeth the dawn to break.

Ó seguidores do Filho! Mais uma vez, enviamos-vos João e Ele, em verdade, bradou no deserto do Bayán: Ó povos do mundo! Purificai os vossos olhos! Aproxima-se o Dia em que podereis contemplar o Prometido e alcançá-Lo! Ó seguidores do Evangelho! Preparai o caminho! O Dia do Advento do Senhor Glorioso está próximo! Preparai-vos para entrar no Reino. Assim foi ordenado por Deus, Aquele que faz a surgir a alvorada.

Whatever proceeded from the tongue of the Son was revealed in parables, whilst He Who proclaimeth the Truth in this Day speaketh without them. Take heed lest thou cling to the cord of idle fancy and withhold thyself from that which hath been ordained in the Kingdom of God, the Almighty, the All-Bountiful. Should the inebriation of the wine of My verses seize thee, and thou determinest to present thyself before the throne of thy Lord, the Creator of earth and heaven, make My love thy vesture, and thy shield remembrance of Me, and thy provision reliance upon God, the Revealer of all power.

Tudo o que foi proferido pela língua do Filho foi revelado em parábolas, enquanto Aquele Que proclama a verdade neste Dia fala sem elas. Acautela-te para que não te segures ao cordão das fantasias fúteis e te prives daquilo que foi decretado no Reino de Deus, o Omnipotente, o Todo-Generoso. Se a embriaguez do vinho dos Meus versículos se apoderar de ti, e decidires apresentar-te perante o trono do teu Senhor, o Criador da terra e do céu, faz do Meu amor a tua vestimenta, e do teu escudo a memória de Mim, e do teu sustento a confiança em Deus, o Revelador de todo o poder.

Parágrafo 119

Consider a pearl which shineth by virtue of its inherent nature. If it be covered with silk, its luster and beauty will be concealed. Likewise, man’s distinction lieth in the excellence of his conduct and in the pursuit of that which beseemeth his station, not in childish play and pastimes. Know that thy true adornment consisteth in the love of God and in thy detachment from all save Him, and not in the luxuries thou dost possess. Abandon them unto those who seek after them and turn unto God, He Who causeth the rivers to flow.

Considera uma pérola que brilha em virtude da sua natureza inerente. Se for coberta por seda, o seu lustre e beleza serão ocultados. De igual modo, a distinção do homem está na excelência da sua conduta e na busca daquilo que é digno da sua condição, e não em brincadeiras e passatempos infantis. Sabe que o teu verdadeiro adorno consiste no amor de Deus e no teu desprendimento de tudo salvo d’Ele, e não nos luxos que possuis. Abandona-os para aqueles que os pretendem e volta-te para Deus, Aquele que faz fluir os rios.

Parágrafo 118

O Supreme Pontiff! Incline thine ear unto that which the Fashioner of mouldering bones counselleth thee, as voiced by Him Who is His Most Great Name. Sell all the embellished ornaments thou dost possess, and expend them in the path of God, Who causeth the night to return upon the day, and the day to return upon the night. Abandon thy kingdom unto the kings, and emerge from thy habitation, with thy face set towards the Kingdom, and, detached from the world, then speak forth the praises of thy Lord betwixt earth and heaven. Thus hath bidden thee He Who is the Possessor of Names, on the part of thy Lord, the Almighty, the All-Knowing. Exhort thou the kings and say: “Deal equitably with men. Beware lest ye transgress the bounds fixed in the Book.” This indeed becometh thee. Beware lest thou appropriate unto thyself the things of the world and the riches thereof. Leave them unto such as desire them, and cleave unto that which hath been enjoined upon thee by Him Who is the Lord of creation. Should anyone offer thee all the treasures of the earth, refuse to even glance upon them. Be as thy Lord hath been. Thus hath the Tongue of Revelation spoken that which God hath made the ornament of the book of creation.

Ó Sumo Pontífice! Dá ouvidos àquilo que te aconselha o Moldador dos ossos que se desfazem, conforme pronunciado por Aquele que é o Seu Mais Grandioso Nome. Vende todos ornamentos sumptuosos que possuis, e gasta-os no caminho de Deus, Que fez a noite regressar após o dia, e o dia regressar após a noite. Abandona o teu reino aos reis, e emerge da tua residência com a tua face voltada para o Reino, e depois, desprendido do mundo, pronuncia louvores ao teu Senhor entre a terra e o céu. Assim te foi ordenado por Aquele que é o Possuidor dos Nomes, pela parte do teu Senhor, o Omnipotente, o Omnisciente. Exorta os reis e dize: “Tratai os homens com equidade. Acautelai-vos para não transgredir os limites estabelecidos no Livro.” Isto, na realidade, é próprio de ti. Acautela-te para que não te apropries das coisas deste mundo e das suas riquezas. Deixa-as para aqueles que as desejam, e segura-te ao que e foi ordenado por Aquele que é o Senhor da Criação. Se alguém te oferecer todos os tesouros da terra, recusa-te sequer a olhá-los de relance. Sê como foi o teu Senhor. Assim a Língua da Revelação proferiu aquilo que Deus tornou o adorno do livro da criação.
