O Beauty of the All-Glorious! Shouldst Thou chance upon this people and enter their presence, recount unto them that which this Youth hath related unto Thee concerning Himself and the things that have befallen Him, that they may come to know what hath been inscribed upon the Preserved Tablet. Acquaint them with the tidings of this Youth, and with the trials and tribulations He hath suffered, that they may become mindful of Mine afflictions, and be of them that are occupied with His remembrance. Recount, then, unto them how We singled out for Our favour one of Our brothers,1 how We imparted unto him a dewdrop from the fathomless ocean of knowledge, clothed him with the garment of one of Our Names, and exalted him to such a station that all were moved to extol him, and how We so protected him from the harm of the malevolent as to disarm even the mightiest amongst them.

Ó Beleza do Todo-Glorioso! Se por acaso te encontrares este povo e entrares na sua presença, relata-lhe aquilo que este Jovem Te contou sobre Ele próprio e as coisas que Lhe sucederam para que eles venham a conhecer o que foi inscrito na Epístola Preservada. Familiariza-os com as boas-novas deste Jovem, e com as provações e tribulações que Ele sofreu, para que possam ficar cientes das Minhas aflições, e serem daqueles que se ocupam com a Sua memória. Relata-lhes, depois, como distinguimos, por favor Nosso, um dos Nossos irmãos [1], como lhe transmitimos uma gota do insondável oceano do conhecimento, vestindo-o com o traje de um dos Nossos Nomes, e exaltando-o a uma condição que todos foram levados a louvá-lo, e como tanto o protegemos das ofensas dos malévolos que até desarmámos o mais poderoso entre eles.

Parágrafo 24

These are they who, in truth, were not enjoined to prostrate themselves before Adam.[1] They have never turned away from the countenance of Thy Lord, and partake at every moment of the gifts and delights of holiness. Thus hath the Pen of the All-Merciful set forth the secrets of all things, be they of the past or of the future. Would that the world might understand! Erelong shall God make manifest this people upon the earth, and through them shall exalt His name, diffuse His signs, uphold His words, and proclaim His verses, in spite of those that have repudiated His truth, gainsaid His sovereignty, and cavilled at His signs.

Estes, em verdade, são aqueles a quem não foi ordenado que se prostrassem perante Adão[1]. Eles nunca se afastaram do semblante do Teu Senhor, e partilham a cada momento as dádivas e os deleites da santidade. Assim a Pena do Todo Misericordioso expôs os segredos de todas as coisas, fossem do passado ou do futuro. Como seria bom se o mundo entendesse! Em breve, Deus tornará este povo manifesto na terra, e através dele exaltará o Seu nome, difundirá os Seus sinais, apoiará as Suas palavras, e proclamará os Seus versículos, apesar daqueles que repudiaram a Sua Verdade, refutaram a Sua soberania, e se opuseram aos Seus sinais.

Parágrafo 23

23

Grieve not if none be found to accept the crimson wine proffered by Thy snow-white hand and to seize it in the name of Thy Lord, the Most Exalted, the Most High—He Who hath appeared again in His name, the Most Glorious. Leave this people unto themselves, and repair unto the Tabernacle of majesty and glory, wherein Thou shalt encounter a people whose faces shine as brightly as the sun in its noontide splendour, and who praise and extol their Lord in this Name that hath arisen, in the plenitude of might and power, to assume the throne of independent sovereignty. From their lips Thou shalt hear naught but the strains of My praise; unto this Thy Lord beareth Me witness. The existence of these people, however, hath remained concealed from the eyes of all who, from everlasting, have been created through the Word of God. Thus have We made plain Our meaning and set forth Our verses, that perchance men may reflect upon the signs and tokens of their Lord.

Não te aflijas se não se encontrar ninguém que aceite o vinho carmesim oferecido pela Tua mão nívea e toma-o em nome do Teu Senhor, o Mais Exaltado, o Altíssimo – Ele que apareceu novamente em Seu nome, o Mais Glorioso. Deixa estas pessoas entregues a si próprias, e dirige-Te ao Tabernáculo da majestade e glória, onde encontrarás um povo cujas faces irradiam tão brilhantemente quanto o sol no seu esplendor máximo, e que louvam e exaltam o seu Senhor neste Nome que se ergueu, na plenitude da força e do poder, para assumir o trono da soberania independente. Dos seus lábios apenas ouvirás melodias em Meu louvor; disto dá-me testemunho o Teu Senhor. A existência deste povo, porém, permaneceu oculta dos olhos de todos que, desde a eternidade foram criados através da Palavra de Deus. Assim deixámos claro o Nosso sentido e expusemos os Nossos versículos, para que talvez os homens possam reflectir sobre os sinais e indícios do seu Senhor.

O Maid of inner meanings! Step out of the chamber of utterance by the leave of God, the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Reveal, then, thyself adorned with the raiment of the celestial Realm, and proffer with thy ruby fingers the wine of the heavenly Dominion, that haply the denizens of this world may perceive that the Daystar of eternity shone forth above the horizon of the Kingdom with the adornment of glory. Perchance they may arise before the dwellers of earth and heaven to extol and magnify this Youth Who hath established Himself in the midmost heart of Paradise upon the throne of His name, the Most Bountiful—He from Whose countenance shineth the brightness of the All-Merciful, from Whose gaze appear the glances of the All-Glorious, and in Whose ways are revealed the tokens and evidences of God, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting.

Ó Virgem dos significados interiores! Sai da sala da expressão com a permissão de Deus, o Senhor dos céus e da terra. Revela-te, depois, adornada com o traje do Domínio celestial, e oferece com os teus dedos de rubi o vinho da Soberania paradisíaca, para que, porventura, os habitantes deste mundo possam perceber que o Sol da eternidade brilha no horizonte da Reino com o adorno da glória. Talvez eles se possam levantar antes dos moradores da terra e do céu para louvar e enaltecer este Jovem Que Se estabeleceu no âmago do coração do Paraíso, no trono do Seu nome, o Mais Generoso – Ele de Cujo semblante resplandece o brilho do Todo-Misericordioso, de Cujo olhar surgem olhares do Todo-Glorioso, e em Cujos hábitos são revelados sinais e evidências de Deus, o Amparo no Perigo, o Que Subsiste por Si Próprio.

Parágrafo 21

O Tongue of this Temple! We, verily, have created thee through Our name, the All-Merciful, have taught thee whatsoever had remained concealed in the Bayán, and have bestowed upon thee the power of utterance, that thou mayest make mention of Mine exalted Self amidst My creatures. Proclaim, then, this wondrous and mighty Remembrance, and fear not the manifestations of the Evil One. Thou wert called into being for this very purpose by virtue of My transcendent and all-compelling command. Through thee have We unloosed the Tongue of Utterance to expound all that hath been, and We shall again, by My sovereign power, unloose it to speak of that which is yet to come. Erelong shall We bring into being through thee eloquent tongues that will praise and extol Me amongst the Concourse of eternity and amidst the peoples of the world. Thus have the verses of God been revealed, and thus hath it been decreed by the Lord of all names and attributes. Thy Lord, verily, is the True One, the Knower of things unseen. Nothing whatsoever shall prevent these tongues from magnifying their Creator. Through them, all created things shall arise to glorify the Lord of names and to bear witness that there is none other God save Me, the All-Powerful, the Most Glorious, the Best-Beloved. Nor shall those who make mention of Me speak aught unless they be inspired by this Tongue from its heavenly garden. Few, however, are they who understand! No tongue is there that speaketh not the praises of its Lord and maketh not mention of His Name. Amongst the people, however, are those who understand and utter praises, and those who utter praises, yet understand not.

Ó Língua deste Templo! Nós, em verdade, criamos-te através do Nosso nome, o Todo-Misericordioso, ensinámos-te tudo o tinha permanecido oculto no Bayan, e concedemos-te o poder da palavra, para que pudesses fazer menção do Meu exaltado Ser entre as Minhas criaturas. Proclama, então, esta Lembrança maravilhosa e poderosa, e não temas as manifestações do Maligno. Foste chamada à existência com este propósito, em virtude do Meu mandamento transcendente e irresistível. Através de ti, libertámos a Língua da Expressão para expor tudo o que existiu, e libertá-la-emos novamente, com o Meu poder soberano, para falar de tudo o que está para vir. Em breve, traremos à existência através de ti línguas eloquentes que Me louvarão e enaltecerão entre a Assembleia da eternidade e entre os povos do mundo. Assim foram revelados os versículos de Deus, e assim foi decretado pelo Senhor de todos os nomes e atributos. O teu Senhor, em verdade, é o Verdadeiro, o Conhecedor das coisas invisíveis. Absolutamente nada impedirá esta línguas de enaltecer o seu Criador. Através delas, todas as coisas criadas se levantarão para glorificar o Senhor dos nomes e para dar testemunho de que não há outro Deus salvo Eu, o Todo-Poderoso, o Mais-Glorioso, o Bem-Amado. Nem poderão aquelas que fazem menção de Mim falar qualquer coisa salvo se estiverem inspiradas por esta Língua no seu jardim paradisíaco. No entanto, são poucas as que entendem! Não existe língua que não expresse louvores ao seu Senhor e não faça menção do Seu Nome. Entre o povo, porém, estão aqueles que entendem e expressam louvores, e aqueles que expressam louvores, mas não entendem.

Parágrafo 20

O Ears of this Temple! Purge yourselves from all idle clamour and hearken unto the melodies of your Lord. He, verily, revealeth unto you, from the Throne of glory, that there is none other God save Me, the All-Glorious, the Almighty, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting. Erelong shall We bring into being through you pure and undefiled ears which will heed the Word of God and that which hath appeared from the Dayspring of the Utterance of your Lord, the All-Merciful. They shall assuredly perceive the sweet accents of Divine Revelation that proceed from these most blessed and hallowed precincts.

Ó Ouvidos deste Templo! Purificai-vos de todo o clamor inútil e escutai as melodias do vosso Senhor. Do Trono da glória, Ele, em verdade, revelou-vos, que não há outro Deus salvo Eu, o Todo-Glorioso, o Omnipotente, o Amparo no Perigo, o Que Subsiste por Si Próprio. Em breve, traremos à existência através de vós, ouvidos puros e imaculados que prestarão atenção à Palavra de Deus e àquilo que apareceu do Amanhecer do Verbo do vosso Senhor, o Todo-Misericordioso. Eles seguramente perceberão os doces tons da Revelação Divina que provêm destes mui abençoados e santificados recintos.

Parágrafo 19

19

O Eyes of this Temple! Look not upon the heavens and that which they contain, nor upon the earth and them that dwell thereon, for We have created you to behold Our own Beauty: See it now before you! Withhold not your gaze therefrom, and deprive not yourselves of the Beauty of your Lord, the All-Glorious, the Best-Beloved. Erelong shall We bring into being through you keen and penetrating eyes that will contemplate the manifold signs of their Creator and turn away from all that is perceived by the people of the world. Through you shall We bestow the power of vision upon whomsoever We desire, and lay hold upon those who have deprived themselves of this gracious bounty. These, verily, have drunk from the cup of delusion, though they perceive it not.

Ó Olhos deste Templo! Não olheis para os céus e aquilo que eles contêm, nem olheis para a terra e aqueles que ali habitam, pois criámos-vos para contemplares a Minha própria Beleza: vede-a diante de vós! Não afasteis daí o vosso olhar, e não vos priveis da Beleza do vosso Senhor, o Todo-Glorioso, o Bem-Amado. Em breve, traremos à existência através de vós, olhos profundos e penetrantes que contemplarão os múltiplos sinais do seu Criador e se afastarão de tudo o que é observado pelos povos do mundo. Através de vós, concederemos o poder da visão a quem Nós desejarmos, e puniremos aqueles que se privaram desta dádiva graciosa. Estes, em verdade, beberam do cálice da ilusão, embora não o percebessem.

Parágrafo 18

18

O Living Temple! Through Thee have We gathered together all created things, whether in the heavens or on the earth, and called them to account for that which We had covenanted with them before the foundation of the world. And lo, but for a few radiant faces and eloquent tongues, We found most of the people dumbfounded, their eyes staring up in fear. From the former We brought forth the creation of all that hath been and all that shall be. These are they whose countenances God hath graciously turned away from the face of the unbelievers, and whom He hath sheltered beneath the shadow of the Tree of His own Being; they upon whose hearts He hath bestowed the gift of peace and tranquillity, and whom He hath strengthened and assisted through the hosts of the seen and the unseen.

Ó Templo Vivo! Através de Ti reunimos todas as coisas criadas, estivessem elas nos céus ou na terra, e chamámo-las a prestar contas daquilo que acordámos com elas antes da fundação do mundo. E eis que, salvo umas poucas faces radiantes e línguas eloquentes, encontrámos a maioria do povo assustada, olhando para cima, apavorada. Dos primeiros fizemos gerámos a criação de tudo o que existiu e tudo o que existirá. Estes são aqueles cujos semblantes Deus desviou graciosamente da face dos descrentes, e a quem Ele abrigou à sombra da Árvore do Seu próprio Ser; aqueles a cujos corações Ele concedeu a dádiva da paz e da tranquilidade, e a quem Ele fortaleceu e socorreu com as hostes do visível e do invisível.

Parágrafo 17

17

O Living Temple! Arise by the power of Thy Self in such wise that all created things will be moved to arise with Thee. Aid, then, Thy Lord through such ascendancy and might as We have bestowed upon Thee. Take heed lest Thou falter on that Day when all created things are filled with dismay; rather be Thou the revealer of My name, the Self-Subsisting. Assist Thy Lord to the utmost of Thine ability, and pay no heed to the peoples of the world, for that which their mouths utter is like unto the droning of a gnat in an endless valley. Quaff the water of life in My name, the All-Merciful, and proffer unto the near ones amongst the inmates of this heavenly garden that which shall cause them to become detached from all names and enter beneath this blessed and all-encompassing shadow.

Ó Templo Vivo! Ergue-Te com o poder do Teu Próprio Ser de tal forma que todas as coisas criadas sejam levadas a erguerem-se Contigo. Ajuda então o Teu Senhor com aquele ascendência e poder que Te conferimos. Acautela-Te para não vacilar naquele Dia em que todas as coisas criadas estarão plenas de consternação; pelo contrário, sê um revelador do Meu nome, o que Subsiste por Si Próprio. Auxilia o Teu Senhor, com o máximo da Tua capacidade, e não prestes atenção aos povos do mundo, pois aquilo que as suas bocas proferem é como um zumbido de um mosquito num vale sem fim. Bebe a água da vida em Meu nome, o Todo-Misericordioso, e oferece aos próximos entre os habitantes deste jardim paradisíaco aquilo que os faça desprenderem-se de todos os nomes e entrar nesta sombra abençoada que abrange tudo.

Parágrafo 16

16

These souls are the protectors of the Cause of God on earth, who shall preserve its beauty from the obscuring dust stirred up by every rejected disbeliever. In the path of their Lord they shall not fear for their lives; rather will they sacrifice their all in their eagerness to behold the face of their Well-Beloved and His exaltation in this Name, the Almighty, the All-Powerful, the All-Glorious, the Most Holy.

Estas almas são os protectores da Causa de Deus na terra, que protegerão a sua beleza contra o pó obscuro agitado por todo o descrente rejeitado. No caminho do seu Senhor, eles não temem pelas suas vidas; pelo contrário, eles sacrificarão todo o seu ser no seu desejo intenso de contemplar a face do seu Bem-Amado e a Sua exaltação neste Nome, o Omnipotente, o Todo-Poderoso, o Todo-Glorioso, o Santíssimo.

These are they who circle round the Cause of God even as the shadow doth revolve around the sun. Open, then, your eyes, O people of the Bayán, that haply ye may behold them! It is by virtue of their movement that all things are set in motion, and by reason of their stillness all things are brought to rest, would that ye might be assured thereof! Through them the believers in the Divine Unity have turned towards Him Who is the Object of the adoration of the entire creation, and by them the hearts of the righteous have found rest and composure, could ye but know it! Through them the earth hath been established, the clouds have rained down their bounty, and the bread of holiness hath descended from the heaven of grace, could ye but perceive it!

Estes são aqueles que circulam em torno da Causa de Deus, tal como uma sombra gira em torno do sol. Abri, pois, os vossos olhos, ó povo do Bayan, para que, porventura, os possais contemplar. É em virtude do seu movimento que todas as coisas se movem, e é devido à sua tranquilidade que todas as coisas ficam em repouso, se apenas pudessem estar seguros disso! Através deles, os crentes na Unidade Divina voltaram-se para Aquele Que é o Objecto de adoração de toda a criação, e por eles os corações dos justos encontraram sossego e serenidade, se apenas o soubessem! Através deles a terra foi criada, as chuvas fizeram chover as suas dádivas, e o pão da santidade desceu do céu da graça, se apenas o percebessem!

Parágrafo 14

14

These are servants who abide beneath the shelter of the tender mercy of their Lord, and who remain undeterred by those who seek to obstruct their path. Upon their faces may be seen the brightness of the light of the All-Merciful, and from their hearts may be heard the remembrance of Mine all-glorious and inaccessible Name. Were they to unloose their tongues to extol their Lord, the denizens of earth and heaven would join in their anthems of praise—yet how few are they who hear! And were they to glorify their Lord, all created things would join in their hymns of glory. Thus hath God exalted them above the rest of His creation, and yet the people remain unaware!

Estes são os servos que se mantêm no abrigo da terna misericórdia do seu Senhor, e que permanecem impassíveis face aos que procuram obstruir o seu caminho. Nas suas faces pode-se ver o brilho da luz do Todo-Misericordioso, e nos seus corações pode-se ouvir a lembrança do Meu Nome Todo-Misericordioso e inacessível. Se eles soltassem as suas línguas para enaltecer o seu Senhor, os habitantes da terra e do céu juntar-se-iam nos seus hinos de louvor – e, no entanto, como são poucos os que ouvem! E fossem eles glorificar o seu Senhor, todas as coisas criadas se juntariam aos seus hinos de glória. Assim Deus os elevou acima do resto da Sua criação, e, no entanto, o povo permanece inconsciente.

Parágrafo 13

13

We, verily, have ordained this Temple to be the source of all existence in the new creation, that all may know of a certainty My power to accomplish that which I have purposed through My word “Be”, and it is! Beneath the shadow of every letter of this Temple We shall raise up a people whose number none can reckon save God, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting. Erelong shall God bring forth from His Temple such souls as will remain unswayed by the insinuations of the rebellious, and who will quaff at all times of the cup that is life indeed. These, truly, are of the blissful.

Nós, em verdade, decretámos que este Templo fosse a fonte de toda a existência na nova criação, para que todos possam estar certos do Meu poder para realizar aquilo que proponho através da Minha palavra “Sê” e é! À sombra de cada letra deste Templo vamos erguer um povo cuja dimensão ninguém conhece salvo Deus, o Amparo no Perigo, o Que Subsiste por Si Próprio. Em breve, Deus fará sair do Seu Templo aquelas almas que permanecerão imperturbáveis perante as insinuações dos rebeldes, e que beberão constantemente do cálice que, de facto, é a vida. Estes, em verdade, são dos ditosos.

Parágrafo 12

12

O Pen of the Most High! Hearken unto the Call of Thy Lord, raised from the Divine Lote-Tree in the holy and luminous Spot, that the sweet accents of Thy Lord, the All-Merciful, may fill Thy soul with joy and fervour, and that the breezes that waft from My name, the Ever-Forgiving, may dispel Thy cares and sorrows. Raise up, then, from this Temple, the temples of the Oneness of God, that they may tell out, in the kingdom of creation, the tidings of their Lord, the Most Exalted, the All-Glorious, and be of them that are illumined by His light.

Ó Pena do Altíssimo! Escuta o Chamamento do Teu Senhor, erguido do Sadrat Divino no Lugar sagrado e luminoso, para que as doces entoações do Teu Senhor, o Todo-Misericordioso, possam encher a Tua alma com alegria e fervor, e as brisas que sopram do Meu nome, o Sempre-Clemente, possam dispersar as Tuas preocupações e mágoas. Ergue, pois, deste Templo, os templos da Unicidade de Deus, para que eles possam relatar, no reino da criação, as boas-novas do seu Senhor, o Mais Enaltecido, o Todo-Glorioso, e ser daqueles que estão iluminados pela Sua luz.

Parágrafo 11

In this Day the Concourse on high beholdeth you in your evil doings and shunneth your company, and yet ye perceive it not. They ask of one another: “What words do these fools utter, and in what valley are they wont to graze? Do they deny that whereunto their very souls testify, and shut their eyes to that which they plainly behold?” I swear by God, O people! They that inhabit the Cities of the Names of God are bewildered at your actions, while ye roam, aimless and unconscious, in a parched and barren land.

Neste Dia, a Assembleia no alto contempla-vos nos vossos actos maldosos e evita a vossa companhia, e, no entanto, não o percebeis. Perguntam-se, uns aos outros: “Que palavras proferem estes loucos, e em que vale costumam pastar? Eles negam aquilo que as suas próprias almas testemunham, e fecham os seus olhos para aquilo que vêem nitidamente?” Juro por Deus, ó povo! Aqueles que habitam na Cidade dos Nomes de Deus estão perplexos com as vossas acções, enquanto deambulais sem propósito e inconscientes, numa terra ressequida e árida.

Parágrafo 10

I swear by Him Who hath fashioned Me from the light of His own Beauty! None have I ever seen that surpasseth you in heedlessness or exceedeth you in blindness. Ye seek to prove your faith in God through such holy Tablets as ye possess, yet when the verses of God were revealed and His Lamp was lighted, ye disbelieved in Him Whose very Pen hath fixed the destinies of all things in the Preserved Tablet. Ye recite the sacred verses and yet repudiate Him Who is their Source and Revealer. Thus hath God blinded your eyes in requital for your deeds, would ye but understand. Day and night ye transcribe the verses of God, and yet ye remain shut out, as by a veil, from Him Who hath revealed them.

Juro por Aquele Que Me criou com a luz da Sua Própria Beleza! Nunca vi alguém vez que vos ultrapassasse em negligência ou vos superasse em cegueira. Quereis provar a vossa fé em Deus através das sagradas Epístolas que possuís, e, no entanto, quando os versículos de Deus foram revelados e a Sua lâmpada se acendeu, não acreditastes n’Aquele Cuja própria Pena fixou os destinos de todas as coisas numa Epístola Preservada. Recitais os versículos sagrados e, no entanto, repudiastes Aquele Que é a sua Fonte e seu Revelador. Assim, Deus cegou os vossos olhos em retribuição pelos vossos actos, se apenas o entendêsseis. Dia e noite, transcreveis os versículos de Deus, e, no entanto, permaneceis afastados d’Aquele Que os revelou.

O people of the Bayán! Would ye deny Him Whose presence is the very object of your creation, while ye rejoice idly upon your couches? Would ye laugh to scorn and contend with Him, a single hair of Whose head excelleth, in the sight of God, all that are in the heavens and all that are on the earth? O people of the Bayán! Produce, then, that which ye possess, that I may know by what proof ye believed aforetime in the Manifestations of His Cause, and by what reason ye now wax so disdainful!

Ó povo do Bayan! Negareis Aquele Cuja presença é o próprio objecto da vossa criação, enquanto vos regozijais indolentemente nos vossos divãs? Quereis rir de desprezo e argumentar com Aquele de Quem um único cabelo, aos olhos de Deus, supera tudo o que está nos céus e tudo o que está na terra? Ó povo do Bayan! Apresentai, então, aquilo que possuís, para que Eu possa saber por qual prova haveis acreditado anteriormente nos Manifestantes da Sua Causa e porque razão agora vos mostrais tão desdenhosos!

Parágrafo 8

8

O people of the Bayán! If ye aid Him not, God will assuredly assist Him with the powers of earth and heaven, and sustain Him with the hosts of the unseen through His command “Be”, and it is! The day is approaching when God will have, by an act of His Will, raised up a race of men the nature of which is inscrutable to all save God, the All-Powerful, the Self-Subsisting. He shall purify them from the defilement of idle fancies and corrupt desires, shall lift them up to the heights of holiness, and shall cause them to manifest the signs of His sovereignty and might upon earth. Thus hath it been ordained by God, the All-Glorious, the All-Loving.

Ó povo do Bayan! Se não O auxiliares, Deus certamente O ajudará com os poderes da terra e do céu, apoiá-Lo-á com as hostes do invisível através do Seu mandamento “Sê”, e é! Aproxima-se o dia em que Deus, com um acto da Sua Vontade, terá erguido uma raça de homens cuja natureza é insondável a todos salvo Deus, o Todo-Poderoso, o Que Subsiste por Si Próprio. Ele purificá-los-á da conspurcação das fantasias fúteis e dos desejos corruptos, fá-los-á manifestarem os sinais da Sua soberania e poder na terra. Assim foi decretado por Deus, o Todo-Glorioso, o Todo-Amoroso.

Parágrafo 7

Pointing with her finger unto My head, she addressed all who are in heaven and all who are on earth, saying: By God! This is the Best-Beloved of the worlds, and yet ye comprehend not. This is the Beauty of God amongst you, and the power of His sovereignty within you, could ye but understand. This is the Mystery of God and His Treasure, the Cause of God and His glory unto all who are in the kingdoms of Revelation and of creation, if ye be of them that perceive. This is He Whose Presence is the ardent desire of the denizens of the Realm of eternity, and of them that dwell within the Tabernacle of glory, and yet from His Beauty do ye turn aside.

Apontando com o dedo para a Minha cabeça, dirigiu-se a todos os que estão no céu e todos os que estão na terra, dizendo: Por Deus! Este é o mais amado dos mundos, mas ainda não o compreendeis! Esta é a Beleza de Deus entre vós, e o poder da Sua soberania entre vós, se apenas o entendessem. Este é o Mistério de Deus e o Seu Tesouro, a Causa de Deus e a Sua glória para todos os que estão nos reinos da Revelação e da criação, se sois dos que percebem. Este é Aquele Cuja Presença é o desejo ardente dos habitantes do Domínio da eternidade, e daqueles que habitam no Tabernáculo da glória, e, no entanto, da Sua Beleza vos afastais.

While engulfed in tribulations I heard a most wondrous, a most sweet voice, calling above My head. Turning My face, I beheld a Maiden—the embodiment of the remembrance of the name of My Lord—suspended in the air before Me. So rejoiced was she in her very soul that her countenance shone with the ornament of the good pleasure of God, and her cheeks glowed with the brightness of the All-Merciful. Betwixt earth and heaven she was raising a call which captivated the hearts and minds of men. She was imparting to both My inward and outer being tidings which rejoiced My soul, and the souls of God’s honoured servants.

Enquanto submerso em aflições, ouvi a mais maravilhosa, a mais doce voz, chamando acima da Minha cabeça. Ao virar a Minha face, vi uma Virgem - a personificação da lembrança do nome do Meu Senhor – suspensa no ar perante Mim. Ela estava tão feliz na sua alma que o seu semblante brilhava com o adorno da complacência de Deus, e a sua face incandescia com o brilho do Todo-Misericordioso. Entre a Terra e o Céu, ela fazia um chamamento que cativava os corações e as mentes dos homens. Ela passou a todo o Meu ser as boas-novas que regozijaram a Minha alma e as almas dos honrados servos de Deus.
